140 bhp eh? It flies too, with longer throttle cables for the heated grips aiding take-off and landing apparently, but he doesn't say how they affect cruising at altitude.....

140hp AND 200km to a tank. Not bad for an 06.

I chuckled over that ad too. What'd he say? What's he done to it to make it such a BEAST??

Don't be like that. I know that dyno's can be optimistic. My 05 with the usual changes gave 132 so 140 is just a little bit away with a more giving dyno setup...

Now the 200km's tank that's harder to believe...with reserve following the GS1200 crowd and a couple long downhills maybe

I got 150km's the other day following a few friends around on their calm pace
Um abraco e mto boas curvas!! :)

After further chats he is a nice bloke that is just quoting the numbers he got when he bought the bike.
I can't believe I was that bored to be honest.

Ha ha!! Excellent work Linga!

I must've used the most pessimistic dyno on the planet then. My SDR with an airbox and cans made a pathetic 121 hp with the smoothened Akra map. I've since loaded the map for airbox and cans but it's a long way from 140 rwhp.

Maybe I'd better find a more optimistically calibrated dyno...
