Tunecu cable in Perth

Postby Linga » Fri Mar 02, 2018 8:48 am

Hi guys,
I have somehow managed to lose my tune ECU cable and I need it to clear a code seven for the bike to turn over.
Is there anyone in Perth that had a cable I could borrow this weekend?
I have one coming, but would love to finish it this weekend.
I can pay in beer, skittles and parts [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

So, I just cut one out of a wrecked car and made it work.
Cheers fellas.
I didn't realise how dead this place was now.

Yay for snow!

Do you know much about SDR electrics?
Mine won't start... Bastard.
I can jump the aux relay and start it, but the button doesn't even make anything click!

Nope.......................#7 fault code shouldn't stop engine from firing up afaik - a few threads on here recently re engines turning over but not firing up - if that's your issue, suggest jumping battery to rule that out, or not, first.

Yeh its a shadow of its former self. Most 990 stuff is sorted and the 1290 crowd basically just bolt on PP bits from the catalog.
All that and Facebook groups.

Simon, I cringe at the very basic questions that people in the Facebook groups ask. I typically reply: please see long thread on superduke.net where that horse has been beaten to death.

Saw this and was about to say you could have mine, but then realised you're in the warm Perth and not the cold snowy Perth that I am....

Guys on Superduke Carnage see to like giving this forum a hard time but just looking at that page you see the same questions pop up every few days.
That and the fact the guy seems to have turned it into a money making venture.
But the need of the younger generation to be instantly gratified does seem to swing in FB's favour. It does seem to have its fair share of fuckwits though.
