Anybody got a race shift adapter plate for a 990 that they don't need?

Yes, it was fitted within a day or two of arrival.
If the OP follows the link to our previous thread he could contact fentos or Sarasota Steve and request assistance from those guys on the matter. Good luck with the search mate :D

I was wandering how I got dragged into this thread. I see now. I posted a picture, to contribute to the thread. To clarify. I do not have rear sets or plates or reverse shifter for sale. Those pics were found online from an online seller or manufacturer.

That 990 looks almost identical to the 1290 one. I'll get a pic of mine for you.

Edit: looks the same to me

I know you can't embed pics now, what you can't post links that lead to photobucket page either?

A guy on FB had made one for the 1290 that I test fitted on my 990. It mocks up fine but the hardware that was sent did not want to thread intoy frame and I wasn't gonna risk stripping threads on a frame hole for something I'm probably never going to use.

thanks chap - the piece i'm after is to reverse the gear shift pattern from road to race - it changes it to 1 up and 5 down, i already have rhizoma rear sets on the bike so no need for your riser plates but thanks for the offer.......
