Well! Years go by and decisions get made.
Near retirement now and requiring a F**king Awesome bike.
After a test ride. Smitten is the only thing I can say, about the 2017 SD.
2004 I test rode every Vtwin Sportsbike on the planet. I wasn't so keen on any of them. So put my money down on a familiar manufacturer to me, KTM to come up with the goods.
Didn't happen. 990 SD was a gamble. It was a Vtwin but not the required torque. With shit fueling. 2007 was great But in 2008?
Even the SDR was nonsense. Not a convincing argument to haul us now aging bikers, from our beloved superbikes
Having reverted back to the fun days of lane carving light lesser cylinder bikes. (And still loving it ). Having resorted to the MK III Duke 690 R
Now time to try the latest incarnations from KTMs drawing boards.
Soo.. Now to hopefully have NIRVANA to me . My Specified 1290 Superduke R is on the way.
Can't wait to bore you to tears. About how orange mine is and how it is the most streetable streetbike on the street.(It is
