DD,

"I wonder if there are other parts from the bike that could be relocated to the throttle to create a cruise control function.'

Had my first taste of a real, CC on a bike last week. Worked great ! New KaToom 1190...or was it a 1290 ? ?

Jump on it and ride !

More than 1000 miles, maybe 1500....and the cruz control at the end of the day heading to the barn.....priceless...

Personally I think it looks a load of shite!
But that's a matter of opinion, so if you like them then crack on doesn't really matter if you think it works. I'm 100% with you on the comfort side of it though if your covering long distances, on my last bike a Gen 1 Tuono I had crash bungs in a similar place & it was a god send being able to stretch out or have a change of position when covering a lot of motorway miles

I've got to admit to using my crash bungs as rests more than a few times and I live up in the Scottish Highlands with plenty of twisties.

But I don't think that I'd ever stick my pegs there, that is definitely a Yank mentality that had that idea.
