It's the forum not your pics. If you refresh the page they resize to fit correctly.

Hi Aphex,

That was "level I" and it really beat my expectations. I think that it helps a lot, at least if you already have a basic understanding of your skills etc. In my case I had already done 3 trackdays , so I had some understanding of my shortcomings and what I needed to improve and their guidance was spot on.

I've never low-sided to really know what it feels like just before, but the bike felt super smooth during all this. I don't think it was anywhere near the bike's grip limits (Supercorsas)

Bonus point: I was scratching the knee sliders all session long after the first 2 hours or so. A first for me, never done that before.

Nice photos!
Just a friendly piece of advise... You need to work on getting on the gas sooner than what you do in the pics.
The SD's geometry makes it very easy and quick to turn in. However, it tends to low side easily as well if you don't get on the gas once you 're done with turning in. Has happened to me and i had to learn the hard way.
Opening the throttle earlier, will also help with ground clearance and make things much easier.
Some better positioning would help as well, to keep the bike more upright
It's all a process of testing where you feel more comfortable

Here's a couple of pics of mine riding my beloved SDR
Check the body positioning changing, but also getting on the gas earlier, which picks the bike up as well.

One more thing, track tyres can take a lot of abuse, but only if they are on their working temperature range.
So, when you are on track day tyres, keep in mind that they should be on working temperature once you start riding sportier

Complete the CSS training, levels 2 & 3, it worths every penny (it could be a little less pricey though..). Been riding since I was 13 and I can say I saw the light after the training, with 47 y/o, shame I didn't make it wayyyyyyy before.

Here my level 1&2 at Jerez 2009
