Nice. Kawasaki's "wake up call" to the rest of the litre category of the day: Sounds every time you twist that right-side tuby-thing to the stop. I always thought that particular vintage would make an entertaining street-naked platform. :D

Track is so crazy narrow, makes you wonder if knobbed tyres couldn't be used to advantage. I'm guessing that agricultural excursions are common - ?

In video and images, it looked like a nice day(s), and the track appears kind of empty. I'm sure all present had a fine time (jealous).

'Twas a fine 2 days for me and my boy. Great company these SD.net guys. The track is ace. Great organisation by No Limits. Only 6 Superdukes this year though. You guys must try and join in next year.

They do crash well. Most bikes would be proper fooked after going end over end.

I was told it was 100mph + and the bike although wearing most of the greenery seemed repairable

Seemed a great few days reading the accounts and footage, must try and attend next year :)

Yep, that would be mine. I came up laughing, the bike not so much but it is fixable.

So far:

New handlebars (thanks Paul81)
Dented rear wheel (off to Motoliner soon)
Front tyre knocked off the rim (sorted out by Parkitt at the track)
Front caliper bolts stripped by owner, still high from crash (Parkitt fixed there)
Scratched tank (living with it)
Subframe exhaust mounting points exploded (Tricounty replacing)
New exhaust (cheers Reaper)
New crash bungs on RHS (I have a spare...from the new ones I bought after last year's crash :D )
New throttle cover (Tricounty found a spare)
New RHS tank fairing (thanks eBay - note to self £197 new from KTM, never crash and break a panel again  )

Hoping to have it back on the road for the last part of September, then off to Almeria in October - woop!

I just wish the OPL day hadn't been rained off really, would have been nice to give Cadwell a slap back in return. Next year

Glad you're ok, the arrival of your bike in Bracknell must have doubled the amount of grass in the area

Good to see the updates on the fixing programme :)

Ok I've secured a 10% discount for Crashfest from No Limits. When you call up to book however many days you are coming quote "Crashfest" and the discount is yours! :D This only works on telephone bookings though, not on the website. 01727 827794

Think you need some cough medicine to get rid of that Snetterton bug. It needs eradicating
The fresh Linconlshire air should keep it at bay.

It's not a choice though is it? We'll simply do both - CrashFest North and CrashFest East

Geoff Did your video record the crash?

It did. It's not great footage, but I will post it up at some point.

You may be able to rent a bike from the organisers - OK, it's likely to be a 600, very unlikely to be a SD in any form, but Cadwell is the most fun circuit in the UK (and technically one of the more challenging) and if making a big effort to come over, why not make the most of the opportunity and ride too.
Check the organisers' web page: https://nolimitstrackdays.com/ - presuming that it is No Limits who organise it, we'll see. There is a contact form on the page so you can ask them about renting a bike. If they don't offer the service themselves they'll most likely point you towards someone who does.
If you have any questions closer to the time, just ask on here and one of the natives can answer for you 8)

I'm booked on a no limits day Tuesday 29th March (it's the Easter weekend) and there is a track day sat, sun, mon and tues and wed which is open pit lane.

16t front sprocket going on.
