BIG DAVE - FWR TYRES

Postby Pig Benis » Mon Mar 15, 2010 10:25 am

Popped into FWR in Kennington this morning, Bob Collins his manager told me the sad news that Big Dave passed away on his Tuono.
Big Dave was an experienced rider, a Nurburgring fanatic, and lived in Spain riding his Desmodici where he could.
Unfortunately cold roads in the UK was the reason for his crash.
RIP dave,
you always had a word of advice on all aspects of riding. And your superb dry wit...You will be missed.

Longest ride on one wheel, 8 miles....

I've known about this for sometime.

Very sad, Dave was a great bloke and really just loved to ride bikes fast, on the road or track.

He bought that very exclusive Ducati to thrash on trackdays.

I've enjoyed several meals in Spain with him, his second place was really close to Jerez.
