Only spotted the other week that no matter what time of day i hopped on here 90% of the time Nick's name was showing online.

We spoke alot on pm after the he sold his R1 as he was looking to get the his superduke working better on track.

The roads are far too dangerous these days. Something like this could happen to anyone in an instant.

Give it the absolute tits at Crashfest boys. It'll be a special one this.

I'll do everything I can to get the bike on the front row at Rockingham and hold up a message to the camera.

Awe man. I'm tired of motorcyclists being taken out. Always sad to hear.
I have chills from reading all the posts.

Just chatting to Ginge on the phone. Thinking a bike shaped wreath. I've been doing a hunt and there are a few florists that do them but if anyone can recommend one please let us know. I'll ping a pic of a SAd off to them and see if any can do it. I know Nick's bike was black but I'm thinking we need some colour in there somewhere so was thinking orange and black. Any other ideas welcome.

If it was me, I would love a KTM logo wreath.

Perhaps something less emotive in the circumstances?

I take your point but both Nick and Amy love their bikes. I will PM Steve and ask him.

Unfortunately I can't get down to Somerset that Friday as I'm due to be travelling in the opposite direction up north. It would be awesome to get a SD procession to send Nick off.
I will chip in for flowers, etc.

Would a charity donation be more worthwhile?

Steve has PM'd me back and they think a KTM logo would a fantastic idea and a lovely way to honour Nick. I'll see what florists I can find. Can I take it people are happy to chip in?

We can still make a donation to something like the Air Ambulance.

I'm up for contributing. Count me in for whateve rit works out financially to happen. Also I am on holiday so maybe able to ride over to the funeral. I feel like I will try out of respect because had just sold him my spare set of wheels. But I have all my 5 kids for these few weeks, Only happens once a year), so it will be a bit of a juggle and judgement nearer the time I'm afraid.

I am sure we will have enough dosh left over for air ambulance too.

Yes flowers maybe not best way to spend dosh but if it was me and I was looking down I would certainly crack a smile and say "good one chaps", Nick had a great sense of humour and I think he would like the gesture.

I'll chip in for both.

Might take me a while to do it though, as I'll be out of the country as of Saturday (currently trying to get organized for it  ). But I'll try and take a peek here when I can.

Post up a paypal address or account details and I'm sure a good sum will materialise. Happy to chip in myself, sounds like he was a great guy and will be missed in this place.
