Angelo Padelidis aka Someone

Postby spo002 » Thu Aug 22, 2013 9:40 am

I am very sad to inform every body here that yesterday Angelo, founder of this forum and very good friend, passed away after a terrible accident Athens. A car made a U Turn and hit him. He was riding his scooter.

His nick here is someone

I would like to ask the moderators to sent me all of Angelos and mine picture. I just activated my account again after 7 years and I cant find them.

We got our SDs together and we were riding together every weekend.

In one of these rides we discussed about a SD forum and Angelo made it.

Please help me find those pics

This is very sad news indeed.

This is a great forum and we all, I'm sure, have at some time thought about Angelo and how we are in his debt for setting up such a great dedicated site for Superduke owners and fans. I know he was involved in the recent problems with the host company and, again, I'm sure we are all grateful for his commitment.

spo002. Thanks for letting us know and please pass on my respects to his family and friends.

I hope you find the pictures.

OMG I only had an email from him the other day asking to activate an account for a friend of his. Just shows again how fragile life can be. RIP Angelo and thanks for creating and supporting this great forum

Guys I think it would be a nice thing to do if we could organise a wreath for Angelo's funeral like we did for Nick recently. Without him we wouldn't have this great server. Spo002 do you think his family would object to this? This is what we had made for another member who recently passed away after an accident.

RIP Angelo, without you all of us would have been lost.

Klink, great idea with the wreath. He sat in the background, not saying much, but contributed the most with being the host/founder/funder of this site.

Guys the funeral as I found out will be a closed one.

Also I am not so close to the family so I couldn't know whether they will be OK or not regarding the wreath.
