Thanks for posting that Rick. I can't believe it's been a year already....I'm out today and will be meeting up with Toby, I will definitely raise my mug of tea to our lamented brother.

I've no doubt the last year has been tough for Tony's family, I hope they find a little more strength to cope each day, I am definitely thinking of them today.

Can't believe it's a year already, he still comes to mind when on here.

I did him proud and stayed home with the family, washed my bike and did some gardening like the nampy pamby shandy drinking southerner that I am, he would have expected no less

I'm going to try and pop in on Zoe this week, as I'm in Leeds.

Cheers

Hi All, I would like to think that my far away relationship with our dear friend and brother Tony meant as much to him as it did to me.

Rick knows more than anyone that my heart bleeds buckets of sorrows for the loss of someone I had not had the pleasure of meeting in person.

Michale, I can only imagine your loss.. mine brings tears to my cheeks every time the thought comes, but to celebrate his life is what we must all do.

I still have the things, dvd's with SD racing on my desk, a "jehadjoe" laminate thing of my banner, Tony had sent me, he was so kind to me.. tears my heart out.

(hard to bawl like this @ work) but it must be done...

needless to say joe will miss the man until I have the pleasure to shake his hand and a hug that would pop a pillow..

In memory of him'..

Stay safe my friends all,
Joe

Well done Rick

Will never forget him, will never change my profile as it is a constant reminder of the man who brought the forum to life.

I never met him but enjoyed many hours of banter

Hope everything is still black Dr F, wherever you are :(

10 years ago we lost our good friend (and general menace) Tony Steele - AKA Dr F.

I'll be sinking a few ciders in his memory later.

Nice to see that the "Dr F - Words of Wisdom" section is still going and adds a little back story to the site.
RIP my friend.
