Strange what sleep seems to do, on the chalkboard of life .... it cleans the slate, only to now discover my own writing is found a scribble...

As the fine dust falls to my feet, I see a pattern of logic being cast into the wind and becomes as a spirit...

It flies as if on wings to all the proper places and magical, mystical things can now be achieved.

My location address was in response to the North/South divide so energetically championed by Dr F so I suppose that will have to remain in his honour. :)

Donation sent; maybe someone can sneak a tastefull orange KTM emblem onto DrF's new resting place. And even though I didn't know him, I'd appreciate it if someone could raise a pint to Dr F for me.

Weeksy, joe wants to say thank you for being so instrumental in the effort put forward, you are a top bloke. I applaud all who have made their contribution,

Cos only God only knows how much that man had given of himself to this place, to prepare a way for us he did, the collective wisdom here was established

by him and many others, who should also feel rewarded by the generosity shown in this most marvelous place I call my home, SD.Net.

I am proud of this place and all who grace it's Royal Halls. I say, I knew the Man and Loved him.

Dr F donation

Postby HMak » Sat Jun 07, 2008 9:53 am

Have just made a paypal donation. Thanks for organising this Weeksy. It's strange doing this for someone I never met but his posts on this forum were informed, helpful and always made me laugh - he was so sharp. Isn't the internet amazing. I want his family to know what a positive effect he had and how much he will be missed.

All,

Fantastically well done on this.

We as a group have raised £625 for the fund which is to be donated to the Yorkshire air ambulance in memory of Tony (Dr F).

Ian (Skavitch) will sort all of this with Zoe (Tonys' girlfriend) this week at the funeral (Be brave Ian).

I have not thanked individual members when their donations have come in, so don't feel put out if you were expecting one, but here is my thanks to you, one and all.

THANK YOU.

A great bunch of guys have shown support and character...

Impressed lads... very impressed.

A fitting tribute i feel

Right gents.... thanks to the wonders of Paypal i now have £596 in my account to pay to Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

It would take anohter day or two for the final bit of cash to come in and i'll write a cheque (their on-line stuff isn't very good i'm told by the girl who works there) and get it sent over to them.

They'll send a letter to myself, Skavitch and also Zoe as a thanks etc. (Once i supply addresses).

I think we've all done really well guys... and if it means 1 chopper on hand for someone because of the fuel we've stuck in it, then i'm proud to have made a difference... As should you all be.

Good work.
