OD.... you are getting close to rhyming.... it is about that time... toby, me tinks you may be correct with this contagious disease i do spread...

the rhyming is a form of ecstasy, your mind has become happy.... it is possible, it is predictable, OD is now in bliss.

I want you UK dudes to see..... this is the nature of our country,

it is in shambles so that when you discover thare is a great escape, then comes happiness. This is why joe is small, and i am a roaming gnome.

I refuse to stay within the problem and will fight to discover the solution.

This Ride-Out has been postponed until the Sunday of the August Bank Holiday weekend, at the request of Tonys mates over in Leeds.

If you were due to turn up tomorrow, please acknowledge this post.

I'll just bump this post to remind everyone that this ride out is pencilled in for Sunday 24th August 9:30 - 10AM at Devil's Bridge, Kirkby Lonsdale.

I'd just ask everyone to spare a moment to remember why it's happening.

And in Tony's memory, bring a MarsBar!

Sadly, I won't be able to make this run out, as my Adventure is in the Dealers awaiting fitment of a full new rear brake and ABS system.

I've been working away, so I haven't kept in touch. However, unless it's chucking it down I'll be there with two or three mates. I need to be back in Preston for two-thirty, due to a family commitment, so I can't do the full ride.

TBH I dont think I will be going there seems little interest from SD members and it's a 2 hour ride for me just to get there, if there were a few of us I would defo be up for it.

I think the upcoming trackday will be the place for me to reflect and talk about Tony.

Plus the forcast states rain in the AM when I want to be leaving and will no doubt be a wet road all the way there. :?

Fifteen of us went on Tony's memorial ride on Sunday. Nothing too hectic, a reasonably paced ride over some of his favorite roads. His mates were a great bunch, welcoming with a sense of humour. He was obviously well loved. I have a photo of the line up, that I will try to post later this week.

Off superduke.net there was me, together with two of my non superduke owning mates from around Preston. All the others were mates of Tony's from Yorkhire. Dylan, who owns Tony's old TL would know all the names of the other riders. He is a member of this site I believe. I've posted a picture in the gallery, but it hasn't come out that well.

Hi all, on behalf of everybody who turned up and also to those who couldnt make it but were their in spirit, the ride out was a hoot. To those who had their own "moment" of reflection, good on ya. You would have given him goosepimples. We continued from Alston where we said goodbye to Benters and co,to Northallerton and then to Helmsley, then along the 1363 to york, around the ring road to Cawood then Squires.
The only casualty was a scuffed can and fairing lower on Ste s zx9 when he decided to compare his bike to a massey furg!!
Twas a great day, mixed bag with the weather, turned out nice once at sherburn with a cuppa, needed it after chasing Al on a borrowed Z750!!
Good selection of bikes came along, hows about some more KTMs next year and do the full route?
All the best
Dyl
