Stebel Soundbomb - 1290R

Postby Turkishexpress » Tue Mar 29, 2016 8:20 pm

Just did a quick video of the Stebel Soundbomb after the installation to show how I routed the wires etc and placed the horn itself. Also there is a quick soundbite. You will need to remove the tank in order to properly route the wires along the left side of the frame. For full disclosure, I do have the Rottweiler intake under the tank which makes things a bit easier while routing the wires and hiding the excess.

It's loud unlike the stock horn.

It's really loud and could save your life! I have this horn on my BMW and a Denali on my Super Duke. Both have scared the @#*$ out of people not paying attention and moving into my lane.

Exactly. I had the exact same one on my multistrada and it worked great. You can barely hear the stock horn with an open exhaust on this bike.

I don't think I have ever even pressed the horn button on mine in over a year.

A blip of the throttle usually does the trick with the full Akrapovic.

I certainly wouldn't use it to stop someone hitting me as I'd be on the gas or the brakes out of the danger zone.

Ride safe fellas.

This is the cheapest I've even seen it.

It's typically around us$50. In the US.
