I've ordered quite a few parts from hfcarbon.de which look to have very much the same products as Racefox(although racefoxx has a few more).

Will post up once I get them. Order a while ago now... maybe 2 weeks.

I want a full CF belly pan! :!:

Got my HF carbon front fender and it was great so I'll get more of their stuff in the future. They are cheap though and try and charge you VAT and MWST taxes though even though they don't apply to international customers.

Yeah I noticed that on my order. Any luck with getting them to remove that charge?

I have the rear of the front fender, rear hugger/chain guard, the fuel cap surround, and the little radiator fan shroud on the way. Thought I will try a few varying pieces and see how I go.

Don't mind if I have to use the dremel a little on the mounting tabs/holes to get it to line up perfectly, as long as the clear finish and weave is good I'll be happy. :D

Ebags.

I have a full carbon belly pan on my 990 which was layed up in the same mould as the Replicast one but I had to order it as a special and wait weeks for it. Worth the wait though.

FYI.

Just got off the phone with GCC http://geelongcarboncraft.com.au/

They are making quite a few parts for the 1290.

I will have a CF tank pad within a few days and will post pics.

He's making a swing arm/shark fin protector in CF & ... wait for it.... a CF belly pan replica of the prototype, rear hugger/chain guard slightly extended as the OE flick shit everywhere, rear half of the front fender, possibly the fuel cap surround.

CF is 10/10 and that's comparing with the world stage ( Clever wolf, Dynamite MR).

Just one thing mate... they aren't in Geelong, Victoria. Despite their name they are located in Nerang, Queensland.

Nice close to me. Got to get a carbon ignition cover, that would look awesome. :D

Drop in a and say hi. They are lovely people. He is planning to make a fuel cap surround which obviously incorporates the ignition barrel. :D

Is the double-sided tape likely to have any adverse effect on the paintwork over a period of time?

Is there a reason other than looks for wanting a belly pan?

Yes, there are times when you have to have a fluid holding belly pan to ride the bike at certain levels.....any sort of racing, and a few trackday orgs that want a race prepped machine for the advanced classes.

Geelong carbon craft are doing one and it should be ready to order within a month. They are supposedly going for a universal fit and shape, so it's not made specifically for the original exhaust which is good. Will have to wait and see what they come out with though.

RACEFOXX told me a while back they were doing one also.

I voted.

I own /ordered a 1290 and have no interest in a belly pan

But I've changed my mind, would love a matt CF belly pan for the bike.

Checked GCC and nothing yet. Not sure if Geelong do matt though, might have to approach HF.

That's a belly pan...

Not how I would have done it but seeing one pop up is a start. Yes I hope GCC do a matte one. Only want matte carbon on the bike, no gloss or satin for me.

I wonder how much that is going to hurt the oil temp, not much flow happening there! keep an eye on it.

Oh well, good on him for having a go I recon. These things always look a bit ordinary when in build stage and although it might not be to everyones liking it will look better once its tarted up with a bit of bling. Again - watch your oil temps mate
