Service Interval Changing

Postby lc4 » Fri Nov 11, 2016 7:26 am

I have notice that the service interval (seen in start up screen) changes on it`s own accord?
I have reset it in the menu and saved it a few times but after a with it will change, eg I had it set for 150000 kays and now several months later has slowly changed to 12737 kays.

It's just counting you down to your next scheduled service and I doubt you can overide it without the KTM electronic trickery - not sure why you'd want to really.

Is there a chance that you've ridden 2,263 k's in that time?

My understanding is that service interval does not count down , rather you set a distance and it will warn you when that distance is reached????
I set my next service at 15000 km when I done a service at around 9000 km and now at 11000 odd km it is showing with around 12000 km on the service interval on start up.
So going off it counting down I will get a warning at around 23000 km ?
