Comrade Steve: Love to see a video of them just editing a live fuel or ignition map and then replacing the original.

Yup comrade Steve: I've seen the dyno charts of a yamaha with a custom ECU but a Yamaha ain't a 1290KTM and a custom ECU ain't a standard ECU. Anyone can put up a dyno chart of anything (including my current 1290) but if it hasn't got a before and after and proof that it was the ECU that was remapped as opposed to something like a PC4 then the claim isn't worth a cracker. It seems surprising that people make these claims but fail to deliver when asked to show their evidence. There was one system pointed to on this forum that had a video but the video only showed things like the idle speed and sensors moving not a remap.

Shame cos I'd really like to see this happen...
