Hole in rad

My 990 superduke radiator has a hole where the tube bit joins the rubber pipe , on the left side as you sit on bike at the top ,, can this be welded , also are all the rads the same for each year , it's just a pinprick sized hole , bikes only done 8000m rad still looks like new ,, thanks for any replies ,,,

Rads can be repaired without welding - drain, remove and really clean it thoroughly, dry off and prep the surface with some fine wet & dry, then generously cover with araldite or liquid metal and allow to dry. As the SD rad is black you'll probably want to repaint the repair.

Six years ago I ran out of talent when off-roading in Spain and punctured the rad on my WR250 on a rock, damaging one of the coolant tubes (the finned bit) - I repaired it as described above, refitted it to the bike the following morning and even now it hasn't leaked a drop since
