Tyres price!!!

Postby spo002 » Thu Mar 30, 2006 2:00 pm

I just changed the back tyre for the second time at 11000 km. I paid 240 euros 20 more than the first. I think thats a lot of money so what id you pay for yours (those who have)? I put the original one.

240 euros is 290 US dollars and 166 UK pounds

Holy Shit!! You guys are getting seriously ripped off!!

I can get a set of Michelin Pilot Powers for $381au, thats 225 euro. Bridgy 014's or 012ss's are cheaper than that!
And then on the eighth day, The Devil created the KTM Super Duke 990 ; cos he was a bad ass, and had to get around town..... God secretly wished he had one.

Shit!!!! I knew I would get disapointed. Today I changed the front one. Price: 164 euros. I'm going to cry. Next time I think I ll buy them from an internet online shop (anyone knows a good one?) where I think you get 2 back and 1 front tyre for 350-400 euros including shipping.

I paid €340euro for a pair of the original Diablo T's but other shops I checked were charging €440euro so I was thinking that I was getting a good deal here cos everything in Ireland is so expensive. I'm due my third front and fourth rear soon again

Speaking of expensive, a new KTM dealer has been appointed here in Dublin and he is now charging €14,000euro for the SD when up to a few months ago they were just €12,600euro!!!!! Wot the F*CK?????

Check in england. Word says you get 2 rear 1 front for that money you paid. In greece the bike costs 14000 euros. So I guess its preety fair to have the same price as the rest of europe.
