The right price for your KTM part is...

Postby pOx » Sat Apr 14, 2007 10:31 pm

... for the round slip-on Akras Ti, 760€. This the price the dealer gets them from the national importer, so I've heard. Meaning exactly 35% off. Any of you guys thinking about buying this or other KTM part sould aim at 35% discount. Got 8% on the bike, 35% on the parts and could expect more on clothes. Rumour is they get 12% margin on the bike only.

GO OUT AND BARGAIN! eheheheheh

Portuguese prices:

SD - 12.350-12.850€ VAT included (suspect the orange version is more expensive because it is faster  kiiiidddiiing!)

IVA (=VAT) is 21%!!
Tried a lot... but I still need perfection sometimes... so I got a Superduke

The local dealer here said the margin on bikes is that 12%. And it's for all models the same.

Makes sense because any dealer won't give discount easily on bikes, but all other stuff they're willing to "give" away.

12% is about right on the dirt bikes but there's a little more room on the road bikes.

It's always nice to know that when you buy a new KTM model at release - your mate will get the same bike 9 months later for a grand less.
