Cracked Speedo - Warranty Claim?

Postby D4NPH » Tue May 15, 2007 4:04 pm

Does any one think i'll be able to claim for this on my warranty?

The crack has just appeared, no crashes, no wheelies etc

I would think unlikely, they will put it down to a stray stone or the like :(

But, good luck :)

if it was a stone there'd be a little impact mark somewhere.

it couldn't be an expensive part so you might have a bit of luck.
Still can't beat a good old 2 stroke ;)

According to the parts list, you can't buy the perspex seperate from the speedo. If your dealer cant coax KTM to supply one, it would mean a new speedo

Yeah, i did have a look in the parts catalogue and i thought the same. But isn't the speedo manufactured by another company for KTM?

I wonder if i can find out who makes them, and go direct to them for the trim  :?:
