well its a sad day but i'm selling the SDR, wondering about what price to market her at so give me your views.

Its the beautiful Superduke R 2008 model
Absolutely immaculate with all the usual mods done
Full akra system
factory alarm
PC3

2 new tyres
spark plugs
oil and filters changed
brand new chain and sprockets
brand new Yuasa battery
new regulator

Loads of extras including the full pillion seat mod which costs about £300
rear metal luggage rack including some oxford panniers
spare oem exhaust
blah blah

So, rough ideas everyone, i've got a price in mind and not desperate to sell her quick so not pricing low.

thanks all

Just go through the usual research mate.

Ebay, MCN classifieds, other publications. Basically it's what the market value is at the moment. Good time of year as bikes always sell better in the summer. Against this is the 1290 has sort of put a cap on the resale value of 990 Superdukes and whilst they remain a strong currency they don't often do surprising things.

Me personally, I'd say £5,000 as a starting point for that year, you don't say what mileage it has, not that that makes much difference as long as it has a good service history or you can support how it's been looked after.
Past: Honda CB125J, Honda TL125, 1963 Triumph Tiger 90, Yamaha RD250, Kawasaki KH250, Kawasaki 400 S3, Kawasaki KH400, Kawasaki Z400J, Suzuki GS750, Suzuki GS1000, Ducati SS900 Superlight, KTM LC4 Supermoto, Honda VFR 800i, KTM Superduke '07.

Photos? I'd be tempted by a second with a dual seat as a road bike!

Congratulations on the sale.
If you don't mind me asking, how much did it go for?
