Easy fix and a steal at that price.

I'm going to get a 1290 otherwise I would buy this. Cheap thrills for someone......

It really is a brilliant bike, I think I've owned it 4-5years now (minus 6 months where I sold it and regrettedit before it had even left my road). I think its worth £2800as is with the cans and carbon, but I've got things I want to do that require cash - I wish I could afford to keep it, I really really do

Couple of questions...
Is that your bike in the vid?
Is it £2500 or £2800?
Is it cat c or d? If c that's structural isn't it?

Its my bike in the video yes.

It's £2500 (although I'll happily take £2800).

It's a CatC however the common miconception (as I understand, I've had more vehicles on the register over my biking career than not, as I like a bargain) is that CatD is body & CatC is structural - its actually based on value... Hence you could have a £2k ten year old Gsxr with panel damage as a CatC vs a 3 month old with fork / wheel damage etc as only a CatD, based on the economy of repair. In my 990's case I imagine its a C as the oil tank (which I assume is an expensive item to buy from KTM) has a dent/scrape and the paint of the frame behing the foot peg hanger has also got some light grazing (hasn't even gone through the paint to the metal (but again I'd guess this means the frame would have to be replaced via KTM or at least recoated in the eyes of the insurace assessor - which with the labour to strip & rebuild all the components off the frame to accomplish would mean its 'uneconomical to repair' in their eyes, but as with most bikes / bikers with access to ebay thats not really the case).
It is straight in terms of frame, wheels & forks, I've used straight edges to check the alignment of the wheels & straightness of the forks when I was playing with my suspension setting last year, I'll welcome anyone to have a go on it and find any problem at all - whether they're a buyer or not 8)

NB - I'll add a couple of pics of the scrapes I mentioned earlier - for clarity
