We started on here a bit rocky when he joined as we had different ideas.
I kept in touch and it turned out he was a great kid, always saw the funny side and had a smile ready.

RIP mate, keep the front wheel up!
If you don't do anything stupid when young, you have nothing to smile about when old!

This is sad news indeed.
Some of Bass's early attempts in the forum are most amusing. Older guys burnt him hard.
Always bounced back though and became a productive member.
Condolences to his friends and family.

Horrible news! So sad to hear about a fellow motorcyclist losing his life in an accident. We're all vulnerabletout there and it could happen to any of us. RIP, David. Sending prayers for your family.

Oh no.. This really is sad. On May 14th last year i flew over to Los Angeles from my home in Australia for a holiday. David and I had organised to meet each other in person at my hotel 2 days later after talking on SD.Net and to top it off i bought a carbon sprocket cover from him aswell. He made a lasting impression on me as a super nice guy and made a point of making me feel welcome in his home country. He had actually ridden over an hour in traffic after a day in college just to say Hi. I feel privileged to have met you dude, and thanks for being a super nice guy. Time for a rest now my friend, Cheers.
