1290 Supersprox rear sprocket....Help

Postby MaximusVR46 » Tue Jul 24, 2018 11:59 am

I have just bought a new black 38T Supersprox rear sprocket for the 1290 and forgive me if I am being dumb but it seems to be finished oppostie to the stock sprocket. If I mount it with the finished badged Supersprox face outwords then it moves the chain approx 2/3mm outwards which then makes it out of alignment with the front.
I have made a quick video trying to explain it (please dont take piss out of video  ).

Am I mounting it the wrong way around?

cheers

I have mounted it the way the original comes off. So it looks like its on the wrong way around but correct for the alignment.

I contacted Supersprox and they have recognised the issue that it may be manufatured wrong!

They will be looking at remanufacturing the sproket.
