Hello from UK

Postby Tezrhc » Fri Aug 17, 2018 8:59 am

Hello all, just had a 990 SDR 2009 model, my first KTM.
Standard except for tail tidy and R&G crash mushrooms.

Mods to do are

Akrapovic cans no cats prob with db's
Rottweiler open filter and sas stage 3
I've downloaded Tune Ecu and downloaded the map on my bike just to check it's running a std one

Still reading up on removing 2nd flies and O2 mod, would do it if i can sus out how to put it back to std again.
Will download a new map when mods are done but not sure which one to go for, my thinking is that when i book it in for dyno there will be less work to get the correct fueling.

Winter strip and mint it up ready for the spring, poss fitting a twin seat and panels.

Just enjoying riding it even though its very jerky at low revs :D

P.S.pics to follow if i can work out how.

Hi and welcome

I've recently started using this site for pictures https://www.imageupload.co.uk/ as photobucket updated the other week and now it won't let me share any new pictures as a free user - the bastards!

Keep enjoying your SDR mate, I love my SD990, which is already sorted with the mods you are looking to do but she has become a little bit leaky... new hose kit will be installed during the winter.

I'm in Somerset btw.

Welcome to the forum comrade. It's a bit rare that somebody bothers to check which map they have before buggering up their mapping so well done and enjoy your ride

Happy to meet up when I’m down in Somerset (quite often at the moment due to ageing parents and in- laws, but also getting to know new black labrador puppy addition to family prior to bringing home) re reversible mods.
