I am a new member of the Superduke club, I have owned a KTM 950 Adv in the in past and my mate had a superduke 990s and I remember riding it and really enjoying it (except for the throttle) and decided that its time for a Sunday blast bike. I saw this at a dealer and was a reasonable price and in very good standard condition. I've only done 130 miles but I'm very happy with it, well I was right up to the point where it blew a coolant hose off and dumped it over my right leg so its back there for a repair. I had a chance to plug in the tune ECU cable and check out the map etc and I'm impressed with the program. The only stumbling block I've run into is trying to fit my HM quickshifter from my YZF750 onto it, I don't know how to wire in the 3 wire coils and it seems to be impossible to find a solution on Google. I've Emailed HM and they said use the KTM loom but that's for the 2 wire jobbies.

Cant wait for the bike to be returned and then the weather to warm up for a decent blast.

Junk the sock pipes and some bar end mirrors and its a perfect bike. Well for me anyway.
Someone here should be able to help you out with the QS.

Anyway welcome.

Yet another (08?) SDR resurfaces............................welcome.

SDR igntion coil wiring has an additional earth, for some reason, as per wiring diagram in Repair Manual that you can download here viewtopic.php?f=18&t=16897.

Lot of threads here on HM and other quickshifters eg viewtopic.php?f=18&t=11145&p=126581&hilit=quick+shifter#p126581
