Real hub/ axle

Postby Wa2fst » Sun Sep 29, 2019 1:01 pm

I have 2014 SDR

I put on a new tyre last year zapped on the axle nut with an impact pinned it. Did deals gap last summer, a track day and street riding.

This year did a track weekend, street riding and deals gap. While at the gap i could feel the rear being super wobbly and my riding buddies noticed the rear wheel wobble as i transitioned into turns.

Git back to the cabin to tighten the nut was barely hand tight. I had to replace my tyre down there i watched wheelers torque the wheel down rode all day no issues.

Last ride of the trip lots of grime or what looked like anti sieve (metal) all over the wheel. Got it home rear nut was hand tight.. both sides of the axle are pinned.

Any knowledge of what could be sliding in and out that is allowing this space in between and the wheel to move like this?
I peck on an ipad with 1 finger. Idc about punctuation or capitalization

Bearing failure would be my pick. Sorry about the late reply, but great if you came back with the actual cause.
